S&R Auto and Truck Salvage is a third generation family owned business, beginning in 1959 when F.M. Stokes opened S&R Auto & Truck Service. It wasn't until 1992 that F.M. and his son, Ed Stokes, realized their dream and constructed a "state of the art" salvage yard just north of downtown Charlotte that has since served the community and areas beyond for 25 years. Ed Stokes' ideas and ingenuity that went into the construction of our large 10 acre facility has risen the bar of expectation from a salvage yard. Features like a large climate controlled waiting area, electronic inventory and nationwide parts locating systems, 26000 square foot warehouse, indoor tear down bays and fluid separating and containment equipment makes us one of the premier salvage yards in the Charlotte area. Our inventory of vehicles is organized, well cataloged and constantly changing to meet the needs of our customers. Today, the family has continued the legacy of working hard to maintain a reputation of selling quality used auto parts and excellent customer service.
